aspire 3 hinge problem and plastic body is separated from screen

Hi,

I had bought acer aspire 3 laptop 2 years back and became an acer user after I found this Aspire laptop that had everything that I wanted at a reasonable price. But after just a couple years the left side near the adapter plug in began to crackle every time the screen was open and closed, slowly on the same side the plastics became more and more separated, until recently this was not a major issue but as time wore on that small gap has become so wide it separates the whole computer . what can be done to manage these kind of issues.
