Good day. Faced an overheating problem on this laptop (515-54). I decided to try to undervolt, but as a result I ran into such a problem, which does not work. On extreme tuning, the sliders are disabled, and throttle stop does not give any results. What can be done in this situation? CPU i5-9300h

"QQWEETT" undervolting is not a cure/fix for overheating as there could be other factors of why your AN515-54 overheats. Check these components first and as follows:

    1. Check that your CPU/GPU FANS are functioning at 100% and are not faulty?
    2. Check that your heatsink is pasted to the CPU/GPU properly (always use the "Pea Dot Method" to repaste your CPU/GPU) and make sure that the OEM paste hasn’t dried out and the heatsink is doing its job 100%?
    3. Check your laptops case vents if they are clean?

As fans, paste and vents are a critical aspect of keeping your laptop cool to disperse your laptops heat. Also, what are the temps that you are getting?  As saying “Faced an overheating problem on this laptop (515-54)” is not saying anything.

This is what your AN515-54 laptop is designed for by Acer, this laptop has a safety switch for overheating of its CPU/GPU and your laptop will switch off if these temps are exceeded:

    • Your i5=9300H CPU is set to a PROCHOT at 98°C, a OS shut down at 100°C and a H/W shut down at PH1=89°C, also
    • Your GPU is set to a PROCHOT of 98°C and an OS shut down at 100°C.

Check your temps and check all the things that I’ve outlined above, because and if your fans, vents and heatsink and paste is dried out and not functioning at 100% and doing their job? Your laptop will overheat. Btw, its also advisable to use a good "Tablet Cooler" if you are playing high CPU/GPU demanding gaming as that will assist in keeping your laptop cooler. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
