Trying to add a secondary SDD drive to my Predator Helios 300 PH317-54

When I purchased this I was under the impression that it would have a easy access bay for adding in an additional SSD either an M.2 NVME or a 2.5 SATA 3.  And that it would have all the components necessary to do this easily, including a tray and connector.  Well, I believe the one for the M.2 NVME is there but the tray and connector for the 2.5 is not present.  Not only that but it was supposed to have an easy access door I could take off, but I have to remove the whole case to get at this.  Further research online and I hear of some people not getting the mounting tray and harness were able to contact Acer support and have them sent to their house free of charge.

    Hey @Linnarria

Seems like that, yes, you can really call your country's Acer support to check if the part was supposed to come as accessories along with the unit. Then they would be able to help with that. If not, then removing the whole case and inserting the SSD would be the part of the step. the SATA cable connected should have come with laptops, but again, it is all depending upon the models.

    Hi @Linnarria

I am guessing that you are looking for HDD Caddy Kit. If you live in the United States or Canada, and have an Acer Predator Helios 300 that does not include the HDD Caddy and SATA cable, you can request the Kit on the following link:  https://csapps.acer.com/kit-request/#submit

Additionally I request you to click here, to watch video uploaded by Acer for adding additional SSD.
