Recently my monitor just went all white and have tried some simple troubleshooting with no success. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is there a repair option through Acer? It cost me $1000 cdn at the time and for it to only last 4 years is kind of disappointing and frustrating.

I am really sorry for the inconvenience..    Normally monitors will work for a very long time when compared to desktops or laptops.

It might be a simple issue.    Doing the power drain test will always help.

Disconnect all the cables from the monitor.   Remove the power cable too.   Hold the power button on monitor for 1 minute.   Connect all the cables back and turn on the monitor.

It might also be the issue with power outlet or cables.   Try to connect the monitor on a different power outlet .   Try to check the monitor in a different room on a differnet power outlet.     Try to bypass the surge protector and connect it directly to power outlet.

Finally try to connect the monitor to a different computer and check.    If it is working fine on a different computer then it might be the issue with the existing computer.
