My laptop is getting stuck in recovery mode with following error message:
Your PC couldn't start properly
A required device isnt connected or can't be accessed.
Error Code: 0xc0000185

There is option to try again, to enter recovery environment, or to change startup settings. All these options bring me back to the same error screen.

Laptop model:
Acer Predator Helios 300 G3-572

I can try a bootable USB drive to reinstall the OS, but I will lose the original operating system that came bundled with the laptop, so any help on this would be appreciated.

An original USB boot drive is available from Acer and will replace this boot sector for you and everything else. You have to wonder if that drive is bad also. You can give them your SNId and they are made specifically for you device with all the programs that came with it new. These disks used to come will all new machine but No Mas.

dragonyte if you havent deleted/formatted the acer stock recovery partition you just need to follow the instructions above ALT+F10 delete all files for a clean install but make sure you back up whatever u need to first otherwise if your recovery partition was formatted or its corrupted a clean install its only possible through a windows 10 usb boot drive via windows media creation tool or if you have the win10 iso version image you want to create the usb boot drive with rufus good luck :)

Hi, @xapim alt + f10 doesn't work looks like it is corrupted when I touched those buttons it just continue with the preparing for the diagnosis and then the blue screen. Where can I get that boot drive via USB ? I mean do you have the link for this version? Or should I need to install any windows 10 because I would like to get all my Acer predator features that it came when I bought it. Thanks

@dragonyte you have to get a 16gb usb drive and create your own  bootable usb drive with another device clean install windows and install all the acer drivers software from the acer support for your own model the Acer recovery drive was only available to purchase for US/CA residents if still available at all right now probably not anymore good luck :)
