Acer Aspire 5740 wont enter BIOS after installing new SSD

Hi,

-Model number : Acer Aspire 5740
-CPU - Intel Core i3-330M

-Operating system: Windows 10 (This was installed on new SSD)

My HDD was slow so I bought a new SSD, initialized and formatted as MBR, connected to the main board and installed Windows 10. System boots as well.

Note: I had a Windows 7 on my old HDD which I had upgraded to Windows 10.

I also formatted my old HDD to NTFS.

Problem:
I am unable to enter BIOS with my DVD drive connected.
I am unable to enter BIOS if I put my old HDD to caddy and connect via DVD drive.

However, when I remove the DVD drive, I am able to enter the BIOS.

Please let me know how I can connect and use my old HDD via caddy for additional storage.
