Missing NVIDIA GPU from display adapter (Acer predator helios 300 PH315-51-510T)

Long story short, my old SSD fu*ked so i have no choice but to replace it. at the same time take the opportunity to re-paste thermal paste. windows installed, everything looking good, then noticed GPU couldn't be found on display adapter.

show hidden devices, refresh, check other device, nothing related to adapter. system devices nothing.
tried to install the nvidia (375.70-notebook-win10-64bit-international-whql) then get this error.

been checking online for few days yet to have any solution.
tried DDU as well. same error.

Geforce experience.

it seems like the GPU is goner? any idea for all gurus out there? attached dxdiag.

Sometimes doing a battery disconnect can make it re appear , should either be a small button on the bottom, if there isn't one hold pown the power button for around 20 secs and it should it. My Triton did the same from time to time

Which hole you referring to?

If it had one it would be on the back of the backplate, if it doesnt you just do it by holding the power button for 20 or 30 seconds or so

The battery reset pinhole is near the RAM door with a small battery icon, follow the instructions in the video, leave the laptop to rest for a while before trying to start.

Thanks brummy and leo. I tried both but my display adapter still showing intel udh only. Both holding power button for 30s and reset via pinhole ( i on it back and 2 hours later)

Have you checked that the heatsink is properly aligned?

I did have the same problem as well in my G9-793, I had to do a repair with in-place upgrade, in-place upgrade will not delete anything if you select "keep everything" during the installation process, I have attached a tutorial, it explains in detail about the method, if you don't understand any steps please let us know.

What do you mean by that? The sink is properly aligned and screwed although some of the pads might gone missing

This is after repasting. Pads suppose to stick on heatsink but i dont know why it stuck in motherboard. Anyway before that it stick in heatsink but got no different as well.
