- Laptop wouldn't charge and turn on.
[Last month, I was sitting idle watching some streams and I didn't notice that my battery was draining even though it says plugged in.]
[Eventually the battery ran out and I couldn't charge it/turn it on.]
(Tried plugging into different wall socket and the voltage tester results was fine but nothing seems to work.)

I couldn't go to the computer repair in our town considering our financial difficulties. I hope any of you might have any ideas on how to fix it. Thanks

    Hi CheekyPenguin,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.

    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.
