i've been experiencing this issue since beginning . i have a studio mic when i connected it with the help of usb cable the sound is not clear and the sound is breaking in between. And also when i try to connect my phone to laptop via usb cable the phone is charging but the laptop is not recognizing the mobile phone. But its been perfectly fine with keyboard and mouse.

Right click speaker icon. Click sound settings. Click sound control panel in right pan. Click recording tab. Click studio mic. Click advanced tab. Choose CD quality or lower frequency response if available. USB port can only charge a phone since it is not a laptop input/output (i/o) device like a keyboard or mouse.

    Hi jalvin,

Is that head set working with other devices.

Yes.  Should also handle headset input(mic) and output(earphones) with sound quality & clarity adjusted by software as described in my earlier post. However, quality & clarity is sometimes limited by the headset hardware.

its studio mic not headset. And yes the mic is working well in other devices.
