Hello, Today I wanted to dual boot windows 7 and windows my device is an Acer swift 3 sff3-14-55g laptop. So I plugged in the USB installation media and then it would say loading files and then the logo would appear and then freeze with a red bar at the top. I figured out that was happening because of the boot mode so windows 10 runs at UEFI and windows 7 runs at Legacy and generally it is very easy to change then but in my laptops bios it is set to UEFI and greyed out so there is no way of changing I also did standard troubleshooting stuff like changing the secure boot password but that didn't work please can anybody help me dual boot windows 7. It would be appreciated

You can change UEFI to Legacy by setting up BIOS password. But it is mostly impossible to install Windows 7 on an 8th Gen Intel CPU, it only supports for 6th Gen and older.

Thank you and have a nice day!

Just install W7 in UEFI mode. You can do that with any W7 image that includes sp1. Note that you may end up with a bunch of missing drivers, since most manufacturers haven't been writing W7 drivers for their hardware for a while now.
