Problems charging Predator Helios 300

So I'm having trouble with charging my predator laptop. I had a charger, and it worked fine for like a year, then it started occasionally disconnecting. I didn't really think much of it, because it would only disconnect for like half a second. But over time, it transitioned to disconnecting for seconds at a time, then it would only charge when put in at certain angles, then after about a week, just completely stopped charging.

I bought a different charger, and it worked completely fine for about 5 minutes. Then it did the exact same thing, except took longer to die this time? Like I said, the first one went from working to dead within a week, but so far its been about 5 weeks with this one, and it still occasionally charges if put at the right angle.

But now my question is: What the hell is going on? I mean, is it just a coincidence that both chargers broke down in the exact same way? Or is there something wrong with my port that's somehow causing them to break down over time? It isn't a problem with the socket, because I made extra sure that I plugged it into a different one. Any answers would be appreciated.

Also note, I have tried many solutions such as: Uninstalling the battery driver with device manager, attempting to reset the battery (there isn't a pinhole, and holding the power button for 15 seconds didn't fix anything either. Don't even know if it reset the battery.) I've even tried completely resetting the laptop to no avail. Didn't really expect that one to work, but it wasn't like I had anything important on this thing anyways. I have found no solutions online other than this

    Hi Ashenfall,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.

    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.

I've tried this before, but decided I might as well o it again. It did not work. Upon pressing "search automatically," it just said that I already have the latest drivers installed.
