Air Flow improvement

Hello, so now that my CPU cooler as been upgraded and that I have tweaked my GPU cooler fan curve with MSI AfterBurner, I get very good temperature while gaming. 
However, I feel like the air flow can probably be better considering how much plastic stand in front of the fan in front of the case. I'm considering drilling a bunch of small holes in that plastic windows.. any one tried ? just a bit worried thatit might crack . :(

    If you have a Dremel tool, you could try cutting the restrictive metal grills. Below is what I did to the case. I removed both grills, made an 120mm fan opening  on the top and removed the HDD shelf. I also replaced the original 92mm fans with quieter ones.

    The finger guard leaning on the PSU is for the back as the PC went to a family with three kids.



    Then later someone on a Finnish tech forum did THIS (see pics on message #143). *gasp!* Surely not for the faint hearted, but I bet the intake is now 10 times what is was originally!
