I've had my Nitro 5 AN515-42 for two and a half years.  This is the worst laptop I've ever owned and was blue-screening the first week I had it, but I've learned to live with the glitches.  Now, I'm getting this error every few minutes (or seconds, sometimes):

I've tried deleting old files and restarting, as the Windows 10 forum advised, but nothing has worked so far.  The laptop is running normally, otherwise, but I can't do much of anything without this error popping up.  I scanned for viruses and nothing came up.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Slashley,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Looks to be a broken windows update, did you recently have the major 20h2 update installed? If you have a restore point it may be worth rolling back . This is one of the few times I think a SFC may fix it. From an admin and prompt try

    SFC /scannow

This is meant to check dlls for broken or missing ones and fix em for you.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I tried both of these methods this week, and neither worked.  Any other ideas?
