I usually don't bother putting my main laptop in sleep mode (win10).  Last night I did select Sleep Mode, today the laptop will not start, no motor, no fan, nothing.
I tried unplugging, using a different power source, the front 2 blue lights last 7 seconds, then only the power light stays on, no action.  It hasn't been moved from desk or damaged in any way.   I even tried the reset button on the back near the battery, nothing.

    Hi Grogg,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.

Which Aspire V laptop model do you have? It's likely something like A5xx-xxx-xxxx. Did you go through the whole battery reset procedure, or just push the button? You should disconnect everything, including power then press and hold the reset for 15-30 seconds and release. Wait 15-30 minutes and plug power back in. Wait until you see the fully charged indication and try again to turn it on.
