My Helios 300 2019 version (i5 9300h and 1660 Ti) gets really hot when plugged in. I'm talking anywhere between 55-70 degrees on very low load to just browsing a few Chrome tabs. The CPU temps are also causing the entire system to heat up so even when GPU isn't being used, it's still rising in temps. Same with the SSD. Of course, the temps are much higher while gaming, but that's at least under full load.

The strange thing is that the temperatures are fine I'm using the laptop on battery power. The temps are around 40 for the system with 10-12 tabs of Chrome open.

I've tried undervolting the CPU with XTU and Throttlestop, but it hasn't really helped.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
