My Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53 RTX 2080 not working.

Hello and Hai, 

I want to play my favorite games which is American Truck Simulator and I found it lagging at 20-30fps. I usually get between 60-120fps played at medium setting. I check the log and I found it look like its doesn't detect my GPU (The game log can be downloaded below). When I check at device manager, I see the warning symbol at my GPU and in the properties it said "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". The screenshot of the problem as below.

Before this problem occur, I do some cleaning and repasting the laptop and the problem occur about 1 day after that.

I bought this laptop around October last year. Suspecting the hardware problem. Hope somebody can assist me to solved this problem. Feel free to ask me if my information are not enough. Thanks.

My laptop specification:
  • Model: Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-53
  • CPU: i5-10300H
  • GPU: RTX 2060
  • RAM: 16GB

    If the problem occurred right after replacing the thermal paste, I suggest that you redo the procedure and check that the heat sink is correctly aligned. Also, what kind of thermal pastes did you use?

    Hi,
    I think it's the driver conflict, could you please reinstall the driver from Acer support site for your graphics card, if you already haven't got the driver from Acer support site.

    I already redo the procedure. The problem still occur. The heat sink is perfectly aligned. I am using artic MX-4 for my thermal paste.
