Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire E5-774-58K5 laptop (i5 7200U) that came with a standard 1TB HDD (no SSD).

I've been searching online to find the exact specs for an SSD upgrade that will be compatible with my laptop?

By the sounds of it I may be able to upgrade my HDD to a newer SSD version like a 1TB M.2 SSD, but will my system support a Gen 3.0 NVMe? Will my system support a NVMe SSD at all?

I use this laptop mainly for admin stuff, but might be using it for running some animation software in the nearby future (I'm still new to this industry).

Will I be able to install a M.2 NVMe SSD and also keep my existing 1TB HDD as additional storage, or will I need to remove the old HDD?

Please advise what the max. (my system will support) specs for a SSD will be that I should be on the lookout for when buying a new SSD for this system.

Much appreciated!
