I have replaced the hard drive on my Aspire ES1-533-C0L4 (Model No.: N16C1) due to an error on the original. The new drive I am trying to install is a Toshiba 500GB, very similar to the original.  Unfortunately I can't reinstall Windows 10 or any of the acer drivers. I have prepared a USB drive using the windows software and downloaded all the drivers for my particular model of laptop from the Acer site, but am told during the installation that I lack the necessary drivers. I have tried to manually install them from a folder on the USB drive where I've saved them. Without any luck.
Is there some process or function I've overlooked? Or maybe some additional software I need to enable my laptop to accept the new hard drive.

It's just a normal sata drive right? It shouldn't need anything extra. Is it at the disk selection part it's asking for a driver?

    Thanks for your reply.
I'm not sure. Will attempt another install and will get back to you.
