Nitro 5 AN515-53 - Can I keep my keyboard and mouse plugged in with default settings?

Hello,

I was about to boot up into UEFI settings to change something, but I was conscious my mouse and keyboard was plugged in and it might interfere with some things.
I unplugged all external USB just to be safe, and looked for what I know as USB legacy support if it was enabled but could not find it.

On my laptop model, does the default UEFI settings allow you to keep your mouse and keyboard plugged in, or do you have to unplug any external USBs?

My USB wireless mouse is always plugged in and I have no issues accessing the BIOS at all. Have in mind that Acer`s Nitro UEFI BIOS provided by Insyde is very basic from a look and feel perspective and it is not like by many other manufacturers/models where you can use the mouse. So you are safe and you can leave them plugged in.

Thanks, just to make sure I noticed in boot mode I can only use UEFI, there is no legacy support. I'm still good to go?

Yes, legacy was removed since few years back.
