I have an Acer Aspire 3 A315-42-R851, and the problem is that after I left my room for a moment I found my laptop with this message "no bootable device", I looked for videos in YT and I tried them but none of them worked, mostly because I can't access the BIOS (f2 or others don't work), what can I do?

(if you need more information tell me)

Press and hold the power button till the machine shuts off. Then remove the charger. Then insert a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom for about 30 seconds. Then plug the charger back it but wait for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. Then try to turn it on again.

    Hi Texmir,

Check in BIOS is unit HDD is showing in info menu or not.

    # Try to get the BIOS page.

    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
