This is what Acer specifies OEM for your PH315-52, look at the official list ( btw, I don't know if its a marketing thing?) as the highest capacity is the  "SanDisk 512 GB Internal M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD 2280 PCIe 3.0 SDAPNTW-512G, Acer part #:  KN.5120D.005".

Higher capacity M.2 drives of 1TB, 2Tb and 4TB are suitable as long as they are "GUID Partition Table (GPT)" formatted as you are not restricted to 512GB capacity. The only restriction is with a "Master Boot Record (MBR)" type partition and that is to 2GB in windows. These are all the M.2 drives and part #'s that Acer recommends for your PH315-52 and the "ADATA Falcon M.2 2280 OCIe Gen 3x4. 512GB" is not one of them.
