Hello, im facing a problem with the intel wifi adapter, when i connect to my wifi the connection sometimes disconected, and then reconnected by itself. This issue is weirdly only happens if i use my router wifi, if i use the wifi from my mobile device hotspot this issue seems doesn't happened. ive already tried many methods, like using the latest intel wifi adapter driver and try acer wifi adapter driver and ive already tried to configure the wifi adapter power management in the device manager but that doesn't help. please help me fix this issue ASAP

@Reiyy Is this a recent problem or something that's existed for a while? If it's a recent problem, you can try rolling back the adapter driver to an earlier stable version.

I am using the same version adapter driver on a Swift SF314-57. It does disconnect at times but it reconnects so quickly I'm generally not even aware that it's happened. I only know because of the "Lso was triggered" entries in the event log. I found that changing from the 2.4GHz band to the 5GHz band lessened but did not totally eliminate the disconnects. You can try that if your router supports 5GHz.

Are your disconnects brief or long enough that you see that you are disconnected on the Wi-Fi status icon on the task bar? I used to have long disconnects but it resolved itself with one of the more recent driver updates. If they are long disconnects, you may have 802.11 settings that are incompatible with your router. Under the Advanced tab in the driver properties you will have 2 sets of 802.11 mode settings. Make sure these match the capabilities of the router or just try some different settings to see it that helps.

If you have a lot of other routers nearby, sometimes disconnects can be caused by the router changing channels due to heavy traffic if you have the channel set to auto. Setting it to a fixed channel may help - 1, 6 or 11 are usually best for 2.4GHz. Use a Wi-Fi monitor programme to check for nearby routers and what channels are being used.

Since your connection via a phone hot spot is likely using an older 2.4Ghz standard, try using an older 802.11 standard via the adapter advanced properties. The first 802.11a/b/g setting is usually set to a/b/g. Try using b only & if that doesn't help, try a only. The second 802.11n/ac/ax setting is for 5Ghz and was set to ax in my case. Try setting that to disabled.

I'm running the same version of the driver without issues on my Spin 5, so it's less likely to be the hardware and driver. What router do you have? Is it also 802.11ax (WiFi 6)?
