Got problem after install windows update (8 may) - Swift 3 SF314-54G-51WS

hi guys,i need help

my laptop having problems after updating windows on May 8 yesterday,laptop sometimes got slow..freeze..and now BSOD,before updating there are no problem with my laptop

my laptop got insyde software firmware 5.12 update from windows update...i checked my laptop BIOS is 1.7,btw i never update or touch my bios and now my bios got the latest version...

anyone know what is the problem with my laptop?is bios problem?OS problem?or my hardware in my laptop problem?

Hi Andreas3,

Try Bios Default,

1. Turn OFF the unit.

2. Press and hold F2 and turn ON the unit.

3. You will be in the BIOS page. (Now release the F2 key)

4. Tap on F9 and hit enter key

5. Tap on F10 and hit enter key.

6. Unit will restart automatically.

Check this and update us.

sir, i already do that, still my laptop stuck and freeze sometimes, i try reinstall my windows, still same thing before happens.
is the lastest bios not stable?

Can you take a picture of the BSOD? There is often details there that can point to the issue.

BSOD is rare happen.. but i notice this, when i open one app (1) and another app (2) and i open another app (3).. after 30 minutes when my laptop become slow stuck and freeze coming.. i can close app (1)(2) but app (3) i can't, mouse pointer can move but pointer become circle blue (loading), i want to restart for windows logo, power-restart i can click but it stuck and freeze, it happen too when i open just one app.. btw i upgrade my laptop feb, 2020 install 16gb ram, 512gb nvme, 512gb ssd, my laptop run smooth and then come update 8 may,and it ruined my laptop
just curious is this software problem (bios, os, app)??

If app 3 is getting stuck, it is likely the culprit.

i uninstall that app, btw (3) is opera browser, but nothing changes, freeze still happen..is so annoying every second, i must save my work on my laptop incase stuck n freeze happens
right now i want to try reinstall my os with windows 10 version before 20H2 coming,(sept, 2020), hopefully just os update problem

I don't use Opera, but most browsers have a mode where you can launch them without any addons running. Usually a gradual failure when running a browser is caused by an addon that's either got a memory leak or some other error...
