You open a ticket with Acer support and they'll then handle what's needed for your warranty. It might be an issue with the PSU, it might be something else. Just describe what you are seeing to them and they'll figure it out with you.

I got a new (6 month old) TC-865 running windows 10. It constantly crashes and reboots (anywhere within 5 minutes to 30 minutes). I updated it with all the latest and the greatest Windows patches. Other than Chrome, I do not have other apps installed.

Per Acer tech support, I restored my PC to factory settings. The crashes continue. Tech support wants me to ship the desktop which may take 2-3 weeks of troubleshooting. It amazes me that Acer does not have a on-call tech expert to check my desktop online and troubleshoot. I am student and need my desktop for homework.

Did others face the same problem with TC-865 crashing non-stop? If so, any help with troubleshooting will be appreciated.

I'm having exactly the same problem.  I have been so busy that I just haven't bothered to let you know.  I bought a warranty through Amazon but they're telling me that it's a manufacturing warranty I need to use first.  How do I get that to happen!??????? HELP!! It's been under a year that I purchased this machine.

How do I claim my warranty?  I have an Aspire TC-865-UR16 Desktop.  It's crashed almost daily and multiple times daily ever since I got it.  WHY????  Please help me know what to do next.

lindyjtaylor - If the PC just shutoffs and reboots multiple times a day... it's the power supply. It's about a $50-80 dollar fix to replace; There is about 3 or 4 screw and a clip that needs depressed to get take it out. Once again, if it was this behavior, it's probably that issue.

Your working along and then BAM! BLACK SCREEN - system is rebooting. (you might even hear a click in the tower)
