Brand new Nitro laptop with Ryzen 5 + RTX 3060 crashes 5-10mins into games unless underclocked.
I recently bought a Nitro laptop which runs on Ryzen 5 + RTX 3060. As soon as it arrived, I installed couple of games (Warzone and Valorant) on it but the laptop started to crash 5-10 mins into the games.
I updated all the drivers, checked the GPU temps (about 75c) and they seem fine but the laptop was still crashing and also occasionally giving me BSOD.
I finally managed to fix this problem by underclocking the GPU by almost - 500MHz using MSI Afterburner, including the memory clock and then ran Heaven benchmark on ultra and tested games which now run fine...
My question here is should I return the laptop as I suspect it might be a hardware problem or should I just wait for new driver updates which may resolve any issues with it?
I am confused as to what could be the problem, other people who bought the same laptop (who posted online reviews) did not have this issue. Any advice is well appreciated.
Thanks.
