laptop running after shutdown - nitro 5 AN515-52

From last few weeks my nitro 5 AN515-52 sometimes having this shutdown issue. After shutting down the screen goes blank but keyboard light and power led are still blinking so i have to force shutdown it everytime this happens. I have tried all solutions provided on internet and on acer community but nothing helps. Please let me know if someone knows about the solution to this issue.

    After these two steps, I didn't face the problem yet but if it persists then I'll update here.
    btw if this doesn't solve the problem then what could be the solution

    Hi em_tarun,

    # Try to update the battery driver

    1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
    2. Choose the device manager option.
    3. Go with the option battery.
    4. Under the title battery.
    Update Battery Drivers in Windows EASILY - Driver Easy
    5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
    6. Choose "search automatically". 

    Check this T/S and post the result. ​

    Nope it doesn't help. The problem occurs today two times and also on sleep mode. After opening the lid only keyboard light and the power indicator wakes up, screen remains blank.

    The drivers are already up to date. Anything else?

    Yes same problem, i already told this if you have any other solution pls tell

    Can you take the laptop apart, disconnect the lithium battery and disconnect the rams memories?
    Then, test each ram individually.

    Reset this PC and keep my files
    1. Shutdown the unit. Press and hold alt+F10 key. Then turn ON the unit.
    2. You will get a blue screen. Choose the option troubleshoot. 





    3. Select Keep my files to refresh your PC and reinstall your operating system without removing your personal files. Click Next to continue. Important If you have apps installed on your PC, they will be removed. Recovery - 25
    4. Resetting the PC will reinstall Windows, change settings back to their factory defaults and remove all preinstalled apps and programs without removing your personal files. Click Reset to continue.
    5. You will be shown the reset progress on the screen. The screen will turn off during the reset process.
    6. The screen will turn back on when it is installing Windows. Your PC will restart several times during the reset process.
    7. Follow the process until it completes.
    8. When your PC has completed the reset process, Windows will have been reset back to its factory default settings without removing your personal files.

    I've already done this twice before and even done a full reset but still the problem persists. As I've already mentioned before I've tried all possible solutions available on the internet, that's why i'm here to know if someone encountered this same problem and got a perfect solution to this.

  • Try disconnecting the lition battery and the rtc battery.
