I've got a few hour old Acer Predator Triton 300 that is sitting at 0% (plugged in) battery life.
When I unplug the AC adaptor it shuts down(duh).

I've left it plugged in power off for some time with no change.
I've uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI battery drive and restarted.
I've installed Acer Care and checked the battery health, comes out good.
I've tried installing all the Windows updates, I can't get through them all, I assume it's due to the battery being at 0%. When I try to finish the installs the laptop restarts, and immediately goes into Diagnosing PC and Attempting Repairs at the Predator BIOS logo. Once it gets back into it reverts the update since it didn't install all the way.
I'm afraid to update the BIOS for this reason. I'm worried that it will lose power during the install and brick the laptop.

Hopefully there's something I'm missing that might save me a trip to return it.

Sorry, I’m reformatting for the return right now so I can’t check. I’ve been messing with this thing for about 9 hours and decided a new computer shouldn’t be that much work.

    Thank you for the response.

    If you run

    powercfg /batteryreport

What does it say about the battery?
