What external GPU is suitable for Acer Travel Mate P245 Series?

I'm on a low budget and I was wondering if I could just buy an eGPU for my laptop since it's always lagging/crashing.

Is there a full model number? There seems to be a few different models with that p245 tag such as https://www.cnet.com/products/acer-travelmate-p245-m-6675-14-core-i5-4200u-4-gb-ram-500-gb-hdd/

It doesn't seem to have a thunderbolt port which is needed for an egpu I'm afraid :(

Thank you so much for replying! The model number is MS2380. Is there another alternative for an eGPU? I really want to upgrade my graphics card.

The model should be TravelMate P245-M, TravelMate P245-MG, TravelMate P245-MP or TravelMate P245-MPG. I assume yours isn't one of the G models, since those have a discrete GPU already. The fastest USB you have is a single 3.0 port, and that's not going to give you enough performance to run an eGPU for gaming. You can, of course, add a second monitor with a dock, but it still won't be good enough for gaming use. Time for a newer laptop...

As billsey says your's doens thave a fast enough port for a EGPU im afraid! Your best bet would be accessing a cloud system such as shadow, aws workspace stadia, or geforce now if a new lappy was out of the question!
