I have nothing downloaded on my laptop except for steam, chrome, and the redistributable and ***** that keep my computer running, yet somehow I only have 50 GB. I've looked at all the information to clear up space, everything on my computer just tells me that it's fine and that there's nothing that can be deleted unless I want to start hacking away at whatever was put on my computer to help it run in the first place (stuff I'm not educated enough to deal with). I've had this problem for a while but I swear it's getting worse, I used to be able to download Doom Eternal (if I deleted all other games first), but now I can't even get that to download. There has to be something wrong with my god ***** computer that it losing all of the storage, there's no way that it won't run without taking up over half my disk space. Please help I just want to download things without rationing gigs like it's the depression. I'll try to answer any questions for more info I can but I'm not very tech savy

    Hi LRDMAN,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

    Check this T/S and post the result.

    Hi @LRDMAN
    You might have old Windows upgrade files, you may also have duplicated files and folders in your system, I would suggest you to use Disk Cleanup to delete unnecessary files and folders from C drive, you can also check System Restore and see whether you have too many system restore points.
    You can also use a free utility called Treesize to find out which programs/apps taking up the HDD space.

    @LRDMAN

    Go to PC Settings --> Storage and post that screen here. It would be as below.

    Since you only have 50 GB HDD, it must be an old style mechanical HDD.

    How about doing yourself a favor by replacing it with a 240GB 2.5" SATA3 SSD for less than US $30. You'll appreciate the increase in performance for your same PC.

    Right click on where it says Disk 0, and initialize it. You have a 1 TB storage there lying unused.
