Not so much a questions as a solution that worked for me. Sharing so it might help others and giving back to the community that has help me numerous times in the past.

This might work for other brands too.

Got the SWIFT SF514-55TA with 17 11th gen 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD running Windows 10 (20H2). Noticed the Network would disconnect every time the screen saver came on knocking me off the VPN and effectively disconnecting me from the work session. Nearly decided to return the Laptop. Assumed this would be an easy fix as I had noticed in the past on my Lenovo, Disabling "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" would solve the issue. Only one problem the Power management tab in Wi-Fi is missing.

Also noticed there were only two power plans once called Acer.

Not too many post on the topic so I thought I would document what worked for me as shared by HDMI on 10forumns

Open the Powershell (Admin) by pressing Win+X and type the following:

reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power /v PlatformAoAcOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 0

Exit and Reboot

or you could open Regedit in an elevated  command prompt goto reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
Right click and create a new REG_DWORD PlatformAoAcOverride and give it a decimal 0 value

exit and reboot for your changes to take effect.

I not only got my power management tab back where I could disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", but also see the various power plans. Deleted the acer plan.

The above instructions came with a warning about modern Standby on some laptops
causing serious issues like draining the battery and heating the laptop, with the lid closed, to insane temperatures in a laptop carrying bag. but I do not see the system heating and my wifi is holding the connection better.

Try at your own risk :) ...

Yes, that only works with hardware where the drivers support it...
