Hi,

I just dug out from the shelf olf our garage my father's really old warhorse Acer TravelMate 8005LMi. It has not been used at least for 15 years. It seems that the whole HDD is wiped and installed really old Linux. I just erased it and installed Linux Zorin 15.3 Lite (18.04 Bionic) which works really well. Kinda astonishing that everything works (screen, WIFI, USB, CD/DVD,...). I was planning to make dual boot with XP Pro OEM (license code at the bottom of the laptop) but every CD and disks and printed materials have been wasted about 20 years ago.

My problem is that I cannot find anywhere Acer OEM XP installation disks and CDs'. Any idea where could I get them downloaded?

It seems that this BIOS (3a20 = newest?) cannot boot from USB and 4.76G DVD limit booting from Win10. I could not make any kind of bootable CD or DVD of any Windows (Too old tech for me). So I cannot boot this computer with any Windows installation media I created. There is no disk drive in this computer, only CD/DVD.

I was planning to use this old computer in my electronics project thru USB and the controller software is only Windows (no any other platform available).

So, any idea where I could download Acer OEM Windows XP Professional SP3 install CD/DVD image(s) that is bootable and/or how can I make bootable CD/DVD with imgburn?  Or how can I create a bootable CD/DVD of any kind that fit to 4.76G DVD and can run Windows setup.exe file?  I could even try to install Windows 10 but it do not fit to 4.76G DVD.

Thank you very much in advance.
