Does my TC-885-ES17 motherboard (B36H4-AD) have an M.2 slot? And can I boot from PCIe?

I would like to install an NVMe SSD, but according to the research I have made (I am very uneducated on the topic of computer components), I need an M.2 2280 slot with an M key for the SSD I have in mind to fit.

I simply wonder if the motherboard I have has this slot, and if it doesn't, if I can use this SSD as my boot drive using a PCIe to M.2 adapter.

I would also like to know what type of PCIe slot I have.

Thanks for any help!

    I have a TC-885-UA91.

I looked at the photo from this link:

Just same as my PC's motherboard. The M.2 slot is right next to the 3 SATA ports. I am using a x4 M.2 NVMe SSD and boot Win 10 from there.

If your other question is whether you can boot from the PCIe X16 slot, the answer is also "Yes".

I use an adapter and use the x16 slot to boot a Linux version with another x4 M.2 NVMe SSD there.

BTW, my TC-885-UA91 came with a 500GB x2 M.2 NVMe SSD. I swapped this drive with a x4 one, for higher performance.

Your model has a higher grade processor, probably shipped has a regular HDD, right?

    You are welcome!

Feel free to ask again if you need help in migrating Win 10 to the M.2 drive. Since we have similar PCs, my experiences with mine can be of direct help.
