There is no need to use third party driver update tools at all.

Install Acer's OEM driver, then go to Microsoft Update Catalog to download the latest DTS software components.

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=dts
This link doesn't contain "Dtsapo4service.exe" or the ".dll"s.

    I'm not offering any tool.

Dear readers, please just stay with my solution. Others will just make you more confused.
You are the one who is confused. There is absolutely ZERO need to tell people to download from 3rd party unofficial sources when end-user can just go to Microsoft and download the official update files.

    Here it is.

Sorry, files were missing in latest version.

Thank you for referring us to the TRUE source.

That is a Hardware Support Application inf file. When you update this inf file in the software components in the device manager, it tells Microsoft Store to download version 1.7.0.0 of the DTS app.

Similarly, when I installed this 11.0.6000.253 RealtekHSA.inf file (from Fujitsu's official driver on Fujitsu's website), it tells Microsoft Store to download 1.27.0.253.0 Realtek Audio Console app. The last 3 digits of the RealtekHSA.inf file always corresponds to the Realtek Audio Console app version number.

The latest Microsoft Update Catalog realtek driver should be 6.0.9180.1 with 1.26.251.0 Realtek Audio Console.

    Detailed update method is here:

I dont know if this was already fixed but here's what I did:
I followed steps above and downloaded these two from the link provided by Joe9844
and then I followed the steps from this video --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyGUG_FE7ok&ab_channel=AarohanTechSol
(Since I already downloaded the files from the link provided by Joe9844, I only followed the steps in the video after the file downloading part)
Extracted both ".cab" files then installed what needs to be installed as instructed in the video and IT WORKED! I didn't have to install any 3rd programs at all. Kudos to you, sir!

The most recent Windows 10 update reset many of my personal system settings, and the audio went back to being whisper quiet. Fair enough I think, so I open DTS:X Ultra to configure the audio, only it won't allow me to. Whether through the laptop speakers, or through headphones I get a 'please connect external speaker/please connect headphones' message, and am unable to click on anything.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling DTS and Realtek drivers and consoles to no avail. I've searched all over, and while others seem to have the same issue, I've not found a solution to this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    i found a solution.
go to settings, then apps and features and select the dts apps and  click the 3 dots and choose advance options and find the reset settings. and boom. thank me later! hahahaha

this is my method on how i accidentally fixed my issues with DTS' sound system services namely 'Sound Unbound' and especially the 'X: ULTRA' that ends up working very very well. after following various fixes that can be found through forums, reddits, and even acer's website, none of them worked. so then i decided to do it on my own along with some things that i picked up from reading different methods.

P.S.: this steps 1-10, is just the fix itself. however, to make sure that this will work 100% without any problems and setbacks, what i did is the clean installation of my operating system that took around 15-20 minutes of installation (depends on your system specs). because, the issues might still occur if the problem is within the system, for example corrupted files, etc. this is optional but i highly suggest to do the clean installation first so that the system will now have complete and corrupted files-free before following this method. nothing to worry about your files because it'll not be deleted whatsoever and because it's just a clean installation, you just need to make sure to check the option 'Keep my files' along the steps of the installation...

...so if you're still interested about clean installation, make sure you have "WinRAR" installed first, then just search 'download windows 10/11' > click "Create Windows 10/11 Installation Media" > run the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions > and just make sure to tick the "ISO File" option > open the "Windows.iso" that is in archive folder format (WinRAR) and click the "setup.exe" just leave everything as defaulty and make sure to read every next pop-ups and make sure to click tick the "Keep my files" option once it shows up.

1.dwnload and extract ddu (Display Driver Uninstaller) in google, and do not open the .exe file yet
    2. turn on the safe mode first in 'msconfig' in "Boot" tab, hit "Apply" > "OK" > restart
    3. immediately turn off the safe mode in 'msconfig' and hit "Apply" > "OK" but do not restart your computer, we will now make use of ddu
    4. in the extracted ddu folder, open the .exe file and make sure that the option 'Prevent downloads of drivers from "Windows Update"...' at the "Options" tab is unchecked. choose "Audio" and then "Realtek" in the "Select device type" field, finally click "Clean and restart"

///this is the part where i did the clean installation of my operating system and letting the system update all the necessary drivers especially the 'Realtek HD Audio' drivers\\\

    5. now download and extract the realtek driver utility on acer website by typing your laptop's model at: https://www.acer.com/us-en/support
    6. and also download dts: sound unbound on Microsoft Store
    7. once downloaded, open the sound unbound app and make sure to agree with the terms, enable the "DTS Headphone:X" and make sure best audio performance is enabled in "Power and Performance" tab located once you clicked the three dots, and now restart
    8. download and extract the dts:x ultra utility on acer, run the setup command file format as an administrator and another restart
    9. go now to the realtek's extracted folder open up "Win64" > "Thirdparty" and you should be seeing a lot of folders named "DTS", but just find the "dtsapo4xservice.in" and "dtsapo4xultrahsa.inf" > right-click > "install"
    10. now go back to dts:x ultra's extracted folder and look for the file that have "APPXBUNDLE" type of format, install it and restart your computer once done
