Certain keys not working - spin 15 chromebook

I am having this issue on my acer spin 15 chromebook. the letters: qweruiop do NOT work I have tried multiple resets, everything was fine yesterday, but when I came to use it this afternoon the keys don't work. YES a USB keyboard does function, but what is the point of that? The reason for the chromebook is so I can just sit and use it with a mouse. What good is a keyboard if over half the vowels are unuseable? I cannot believe there isn't a keyboard reset/fix.

So I did a powerwash and nothing changed additionally the SHIFT key does NOT work either. So not only do I only have access to only one vowel, but I cannot capitalize letters.

I'm having the exact same issue, did you ever find a solution?
