Battery Problem:

Battery was draining fast, I just bought the laptop last April 11, 2021 and I observed that after 1hour of using it the battery percentage was 60% already. Is it normal or I should bring it to the store where I bought it to replace?

Battery drain could be either something running ora bad battery so its worth checking which first! if you goto start -> cmd abd type
powercfg /batteryreport

It will spit out a path to a HTML page. This will have the battery health on it which will tell us if its a battery problem or not.

The next step is if you open task manager, and sort by power use, is anything above medium for a long period of time? The three culrpits are mostly:

• Av is a killer, things like norton hasv been shown to reduce battery by 5-7 X!
• Chrome isnt very battery lite, the more tabs open the faster it will guzzle power
• scrren brightness, most vendors test at half brightness or lower when doing their numbers

it is very normal, the battery is not what is written in documentation, just live with it, you wont find something better.

it is the same as of electric car. the real life range is way lower that the promises.
