Hi there, I have an Aspire 3 A315-41 running Linux Mint 20 flawlessly. Once I add a 22" external monitor it becomes slow. I replaced the original 6 GB of RAM memory for 16 GB and I went into the BIOS configuration hoping to find a way to increase the allocated memory video, but I was unable to find how. Is there any way to increase the RAM memory dedicated to video higher than the default 256 MB?
Thanks in advance!

Congrats. Running Cinnamon 19.3 here. Sorry, the amount of shared RAM is typically automatic up to a fixed max. Sometimes but not always this max is also a fixed percentage of total RAM. So increasing RAM should help a bit but still not as much as one might expect from a discrete gpu with its own VRAM. Jack E/NJ
