DocPr3dator for your model (intel only the ryzen only 2400mhz max) up to 32gb 2666mhz dual channel i recommend hyperx or vengeance ir you want to get the best performance also m.2 sata/nvme up to 2tb (no need to get nvme if you dont need it for rendering etc for gaming theres no need sata its enough) and up to 2tb 2.5" hdd or the max available or 2.5" ssd form factor i can say i have 2tb wdblue 3d nand m.2 with the stock 1tb internal drive and a 5tb 2.5" external drive in a 10gbps starteck usb 3.0/usb-c enclosure and 99% of the about 130+ games i have installed are on the external hdd and all run fine from there there are only 2/3 games that required to be moved to the ssd to run better like Anthem for ex is one of them and i would probably say cyberpunk would be better on a ssd but overall all run fine from either internal normal hdd or external good luck with your upgrades :)

@xapim my H517-51 i9 just failed and cannot find a boot device.
I was under the impression the boot drive was mirrored, now reading everything, I think maybe not. (can't check now)
The bios still see's the drive serial numbers etc.
I think I will have to buy a couple of new M2 drives and rebuild, unless there is another way, if raid I could swap the M2 drives.

If I have to rebuild I will get a couple of new faster M2 drives (Video and photo editing machine) and an USB external M2 housing.
