I turned my desktop on today and the internal red lights come on but that is it. It won’t boot up and just makes the continuous high pitched sound which doesn’t stop. It won’t connect to the monitor so I can’t see any error messages, just get this loud continuous noise.
I have tried turning off and on but still the same problem and I tried resetting by holding down the power button but again the same problem won’t go away.
Can anyone help as I am desperate to play my online games?

Try removing all cables from desktop and press and hold the power button for 30sec. try to connect the cables back. turn on the monitor and then the desktop. is the fan has a loud noise? it might be because of the dust also. it wont spin if its dust accumulated.
    Accept if its Helpful.   B)

I have tried that but it still dies the same thing. The fans do come on but it doesn’t get past the first couple of seconds before it makes the same continuous noise.

    Hi Slymer,

Check the cables connected to the monitor Whether is there any damages.
