Replacement screen spin315-51

Hi my daughter has dropped her laptop and broken the screen😬it's a spin315-51,we have been told its going to cost about £350 to fix as its touchscreen,does that sound about right? Is it possible to fix it ourselves? My husband does phone screens? Any advice gratefully accepted,thankyou

    Any reasonably competent technician can replace the screen assembly, but likely the cost isn't going to be a lot less than that, since the display, touchscreen and bezel are all one part bonded together. There are two different screes for your model, depending on the display resolution you started with. The FHD version is Acer part number: 6M.GK9N5.001 and the WXGA version is Acer part number: 6M.GK9N5.002. Do some searching on the proper one of those numbers to see what the cost of the screen itself is, then look into how easy it is to replace yourself. It's typically easier than modern phones because the case and display come apart without having to deal with adhesives. It uses screws instead...
