Acer XV272U only getting half of advertised brightness

I've bought an Acer Nitro XV272U Pbmiiprzx from Amazon and it seems that the monitor only can get a maximum brightness of 182 cd/m² (measured using a spyder3 and dispalycal) instead of the advertised 350 cd/m² on it's panelook page (M270KCJ-K7E). I've sent it back to acer to diagnose but they told me nothing was wrong so I exchanged it on amazon for another monitor. The second one also has the exact same issue. I've seen reviews where it says that the monitor was too bright for them and the panel supposedly has an HDR400 option which I turned on but the brightness is the same. I have used different cables and tried on different PCs but it just isn't as bright as my other IPS monitors. I have also factory reset as well as holding down the power button for a minute after unplugging. Any help would be appreciated.

What options are in the menu? Im wondering if there are any picture "type" or mode settings which may be overwriting the brightness

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with the low brightness and I cannot find a solution. I have tried to install the supposed firmware update but it doesn't seem to support my device. Are there any solutions to this?
