      12 GB maximum DDR4 laptop module 2400MHz or higher. So you can add either an 8GB or 4GB module. Jack E/NJ

      Can I remove  4G ram on board

      Sorry, the onboard RAM is soldered to the mainboard and is NOT removable/replaceable. The BIOS will only recognize 12GB maximum = 4GB soldered onboard + 8GB DDR4 module. Jack E/NJ
