AN515-44 not powering on

I’ve had this laptop for just over a week and have been using it daily with no problems. The battery is fully charged (blue light is on, not amber), but when I power on the computer, the power light comes on for 1-3 seconds, and immediately shuts off. The screen shows no sign of life, the computer makes no sound, nothing. 

Any idea what could be causing this issue and how I can fix it? Called support and they said to send it in, but they can’t open a new ticket for it due to a network outage on their end, so hoping for a second opinion.

Hi,
I would suggest you return it for a replacement to the retailer, if possible, if you can't return it for any reason send it for a service repair under warranty but I would choose the first option.

I did try this as well, and had no luck.
