Is it possible to expand or replace my current memory of 16GB on my Predator G3-710 please?
According to the Acer site, it should be possible to expand the memory up to 64GB but can this easily be done?
Also which kind of memory should I buy so I won't have issues with my Predator desktop please?

The exact type I got it:

ACER 'PREDATOR G3-710 I9838 BE'

Thanks a lot for the help

Your Predator uses DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 memory, up to 16GB per stick, but they should be replaced as pairs for best performance. Since you have 16GB currently you might have 4x 4GB, 2x 8GB or 1x 16GB in there now. For the full 64GB you want 4x 16GB. No need to pay extra for faster memory or XMP overclockable memory, since the chipset will limit you to 2400MHz.

Ok thanks. I am into video editing etc so I could really need the 64GB RAM. Does this really have to be 2400MHz? Or can this be less MHz? Because 2400 is way more expensive than others?
Would I also need to upgrade the PSU for that? Or not necessary?

Additional timings related question for someone who knows for certain, preferably from experience:

Would it help to replace the original RAM with sticks that have tighter timings like 16-16-16, or will BIOS use something like 19-19-19 or 22-22-22 no matter what RAM you install? I think this is very important to know before buying any RAM.

There are sticks with "Plug a play default speed" (for example DDR4-2133/2400/2666MHz) but the timings can be  very different. One thing to keep in mind is that the voltage of the new sticks must be the same as what the old sticks had, most often being 1.2v.

OP, that set of RAM seems to have the following SPD speeds:
    • SPD Latency: 15-15-15-36
    • SPD Speed: 2133MHz
    • SPD Voltage: 1.2V
In my understanding this RAM will run in your system at DDR4-2133MHz. Before someone in the know tells us how it is, the timings can be anything from 15-15-15-36 to 22-22-22-xx. If your system normally used DDR4-2400 RAM, you should look for RAM that has the default speed / SPD 2400MHz @1.2V. As for timings... we need to wait for the answer.

You can run CPUz to see what the current memory wait states are. My recollection was they were close to 16-16-16-16 but CPUz should tell you for sure.

Here's what CPUz is showing under Memory. And under SPD it shows 4 slots in total of which 2 of them are showing the attached info. So I can remove the memory inside of those 2 slots and then add a total of 4x16GB RAM (64GB total) into these 4 slots right?

This one would be good I hope? Wanna know for sure before ordering...

I'm not of real help here, but I sure hope you get the help and answers you need.

IMHO the safest bet would be to find RAM with the exact same timings. Maybe the manufacturer makes bigger 16Gb RAM sticks with the same specs as your what you currently have?

But when you have bought and installed new RAM, please report back. I'm very interested in to know what happens to the timings, especially if they are not exactly the same as shown in the picture above.

    Hi,
The modules in your link have XMP profiles and they are compatible with your model and may not work, try to find memory modules with JEDEC profiles, similar to this:Crucial 16 GB DDR4-2400 werkgeheugen CT16G4DFD824A (alternate.be)

They are not compatible. They have a SPD of 2133MHz, so only can get to 2400MHz with overclocking using XMP. You want memory that is native 2400MHz without XMP overclocking, as BrummyFan2 suggests.
