ZX322QU cannot remove back mount

Hello all,

I bought a XZ322QU from AcerRecertified via Newegg. It has problems. So I got an RMA number and as I am trying to pack it back up in the box I cannot get the back mount off the monitor. There is a little slider/switch which does nothing in either position; and the switch seems to just be flopping around in there not engaging or disengaging anything. I have tried jiggling it, turning the monitor upside down left and right, nothing will let me lift the back mount out of there... I don't remember any issues assembling it, no forcing or anything unusual...

Do you have any ideas?

In the mean time I have asked my RMA agent if I can send it back in a different size box... Ugh... So frustrated!

You can try to lift that slider up. Pull on the bottom of the monitor toward you.

Tried that, but the part you can grab was disconnected from the part that actually locks it... Eventually I was able to manipulate it to come off. It was crazy...
