RAM Frequency issues Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-43-R84R

After a year of using the Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-43-R84R), I've just noticed that my laptop came with a stock 8GB 3200MHz stick (it is said that the stock is 2666MHz). After a couple of months, I bought another 8GB stick but running at 2666MHz. Mixing 2 different RAM speeds will make the faster ones run at a slower speed, but when I check the Task Manager, it said they only ran at 2400MHz. Is it because the motherboard of my model only supports to 2400MHz? And if so then why all (if not, most) of the stores I found in my country sell this model running with an 8GB 2666MHz stick? (At this point, I'm starting to get more confused since mine came with a stock 3200MHz stick).

Thanks, I'm a bit relieved knowing that it only works with 2400MHz. But still, how did that 3200MHz stick get into my laptop tho?

Disconnect the 8gb stick and check the 3200mhz memory speed again. Check if it still appears as 2400mhz.
