    Hi,
You can upgrade up to 32GB(2x16GB) with DDR4 2666MHz SODIMM modules.

Can I use same same modules but different capacity? Like DDR4 2666Mhz SO-DIMM but 16gb & 8gb in dual channel.

To make sure the total capacity of what your Nitro 5 AN515-54-51M5 laptop can take, go into command prompt as an administrator and enter this command: systeminfo | findstr /C:"Total Physical Memory" then press enter. This will give you the total capacity of rsm that your AN515-54-51M5 can take. You can mix ram capacities e.g. 8GB and 16GB but make sure that they are of the same speed/timing because and if they are not the same, your ram will always function to the lowest speed/timing specs if either one is lower than each other, that is why its best to buy a kit e.g. 2x 8GB or 2x 16GB rams, as the ram sticks are specifically matched to each other and they function to their peak performance together.

Also, to find out your current ram specs use CPUz and look in its SPD section in Slot #1 to Slot #4 for the full specs of your current ram sticks. You can put DDR4-2666MHz type ram but I would recommend that you only use standard DDR4-2666MHz and not DDR4-3200MHz ram or any DDR4-2666MHz overclocked timing ram as faster speeds and overclocked timing ram need bios tweaks which are a different bios setup (which you don't have in your AN515-54-51M5 bios) and its a different mod altogether, as most of these rams will not work and you will have problems with booting your laptop.

@MH00017 They will run at flex mode, first 8GB out of 16GB will run at dual channel, when your system needs more than 16GB, the rest of the 8GB will run at single channel.

Is that ok? Should I do that? Is there any stress issue for the device?

No, there won't be any problem, but it's advisable to install modules with same specifications and same size for better performance, I would suggest you check whether you need more than 16GB for your work, if not go with 2x8GB setup.
