The memory I am considering: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bls2k16g4s26bfsd/ct15092462
Hey guys, how's it going. My main question about this ram is if my PH315-52-710B supports DDR4-3200 SODIMM or just DDR4-2666 SODIMM. I am looking to upgrade to 32GB- (I think that is the max ram you can put in one of these- PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong), mine came with 16GB. Thank you!
-Nate

(As always, I apologize if this question is dumb, I am still learning about these things.)

Best way is to use cmd prompt and run as administrator to find out your "Total system memory capacity" and enter this cmd: systeminfo | findstr /C:"Total Physical Memory" then get CPUZ and see in its SPD section the exact specs e.g. speed/timing of your 16GB existing installed ram and replace that with the 32GB kit ram of the same as your OEM speed/timing, I wouldn’t put overclocked ram like the Ballistix Sport LT and/or a higher speed/timing rate then DDR4- 2666 SODIMM as there have been lots of problems with putting these type of ram that have caused laptops to not boot due to the bios not being setup for these memory modules. At a 32GB kit, your laptop should work at its peak and whatever speed increase you get from ram like the Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2666 SODIMM is minimal and would need a bios mod to handle it to its peak, which is another topic and subject altogether.

Yes the standard kit DDR4-2666 SODIMM ram is your best option from crucial.
