fixing the mic leads on a 5733Z

I successfully opened and reassembled my 5733Z, but in the process tugged a little too hard on the cable with a small white sticker labeled "mic". The cable is wrapped in a gray jacket, and has red and black wires. They came out of the micro molex connector (which is intact).

I need to know how to either get the pins out of the molex connector so that I can reinsert the wires, or how to otherwise reattach the wires to it, preferably without disassembling the screen.

Anybody ?

Amazon has the extraction tools if you must have them. But they're little more than a serrated needle screw that you jamb into the hollow connector, give it a twist, and pull the connector out. In fact, you can probably use a small eyeglass frame screw and a needlenose pliers to do the same thing. Then just insert the wires back into the hollow connector and maybe give them little dimples with the needlenose cutters to lock the wires in place.  Jack E/NJ
