Upgrading my Laptop Panel A315-41-R5Z6

I have Acer Aspire A315-41-R5Z6.. and i want to upgrade my Display from 768P to 1080P.. Is that Possible for just buy new panel and change it or i might need adapter for this? Thx in advance

    there shouldn't be any need for an adapter - as long as the new panel has the same external dimensions as the old (so it fits in its mount, maybe with or without retaining screws etc), and the connector is the same number of pins and type in the same location (easiest way is to carefully look on the back of the old panel where you'll find the make and model - something like innolux or panda or BOE etc followed by the serial number/model of the panel), then put it into panelook.com , then look up comparables for what you want - just take a bit of time as the variety of panels on the market is huge.  The laptop should allow for an increase in dpi or going from a TN to IPS etc without issue (maybe a change of resolution within the operating system, but thats about it).

    Yeah.. i know bout this dimension etc etc but what eDP version A315-41 has? Since i have BOE panel that using eDP 1 instead of 2... Is my A315-41 already equipped by eDP2 by default or i need another cable for that?
