I finally figured out how to get it to work. I created an account just to post this. After all the updates I also lost the CPU frequency display on my Acer Predator G9 793-78CM with Windows 10 Pro 64bit. I have the i7-6700hq CPU, it cannot be overclocked with Predator sense, and for some reason that caused an issue displaying the frequency when Predator Sense service started. I found that killing the services, in task manager, XtuService(32 bit), PSAdminAgent(32 bit), PSAgent(32 bit), and lastly PSSvc(32 bit) would stop all the processes contained for Predator sense to run. After that I opened Predator Sense and everything worked as it should. It displayed CPU and GPU frequency along with temperatures for system, CPU, GPu and RPM for CPU, GPU, and Frost core if installed. After I isolated that and restarted my computer, CPU frequency would once again go away unless I went through the task manager and killed all the above background processes in task manager and restarted Predator Sense. After that I went to system configuration and disabled the background processes Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility Service and Predator Sense from starting automatically after booting. I then restarted the computer. This corrected my issue and and now everything works as it used to. All the measures from frquency, RPM, and Temperature are shown and display active updates and changes when system demands change. For some reason Predator Sense has to start before Xtuservice(32 bit) or it will not work as it should. Oh and I also did everything else including reinstalling all the factory drivers and applications for the G9-793 and it still had that issue. Only after I isolated the services and started them up manually following the opening of the Predator Sense Application did it finally work again. Good luck, and hopefully this works for your Predator!
